Regional Sales Manager - ExperiGreen East Region

Summary

ExperiGreen, a Turf Masters Brands company, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager will provide sales support to the Director of Sales and Marketing as directed to ensure that the weekly, monthly, and annual sales budgets for the branch locations, as well as the Region, to which he or she is assigned are met or exceeded. Qualified candidates must reside in the Ohio market. RSMs shall also be responsible for ensuring that his/her branch locations meet or improve upon all other budgeted and non-budgeted metrics such as, but not limited to, new sale cancel rates, call-ahead percentages and discounts. Additionally, RSMs will ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in recruiting to meet branch sales staffing needs.
  • Provide training, coaching and motivation to Outside Sales Consultants and Branch Managers.
  • Identify under-performing Outside Sales Consultants and work directly with them to identify reasons for underperformance.
  • Identify and address issues leading to branches missing any budgeted numbers.
  • Identify new sale cancels and address as needed.
  • Work with the Branch Managers by using the ExperiGreen Outside Sales Check-in process to identify ways to increase sales and performance.
  • Use the ExperiGreen Outside Sales check-in process to hold Outside Sales Consultants accountable.
  • Provide continued coaching through ride-a-longs with Outside Sales Consultants.
  • Assist Outside Sales Consultants with finding networking opportunities.
  • Assist Outside Sales Consultants with finding and executing Social Media opportunities.
  • Identify needs, opportunities and ideas for sales and marketing that can be addressed via ExperiGreen's marketing company and report them to the Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Provide various weekly reports.
  • Participate in budgeting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting and entry of all sales.
  • Provide counseling, and document as needed.
  • At all times carry oneself in a professional and ethical manner and ensure all who report to you do the same.
  • Abide by all company policies, including but not limited to, those found in the Company Handbook, Basic Work Rules, Social Networking and Blogging, and the Company Vehicle Use and Cell Phone Use Policy.
  • All other assigned duties to ensure the success of the ExperiGreen sales departments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with some postsecondary education in business or marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of agronomy, horticulture and landscaping.
  • A successful history of managing a large sales team at multiple locations.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Satisfactory driving record (as determined by ExperiGreen).
