About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and resourceful Sales Director – Home Goods to lead and grow our Home division across mass, off-price, e-commerce, and specialty retail channels. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving revenue, building long-term buyer relationships, and expanding our footprint in high-potential home categories.

You will manage national accounts including HomeGoods, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, Target, Wayfair, Amazon, and other strategic partners, while working cross-functionally to develop and execute customer-specific strategies that deliver sustainable sales growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Growth:

  • Lead the strategic direction and revenue growth for the Home Goods division across off-price, mass, and e-commerce channels

  • Develop channel-specific go-to-market plans that support both branded and private label opportunities

  • Build seasonal and year-round revenue strategies, identifying white space opportunities and margin-improvement tactics

Account Management & Buyer Relations:

  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts including HomeGoods, Marshalls, T.J.Maxx, Target, Wayfair, and Amazon

  • Present product lines, lead assortment planning, and manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle—from negotiation to delivery

  • Collaborate with retail buyers on promotions, replenishment strategies, and forecasting to maximize sell-through

Cross-Functional Partnership:

  • Partner closely with Product Development, Planning, Creative, and Operations to deliver successful customer assortments that meet quality, margin, and logistics expectations

  • Support packaging, compliance, and testing initiatives to ensure all products meet retailer-specific standards and vendor manuals

Forecasting & Performance Management:

  • Create and maintain detailed revenue forecasts and customer dashboards

  • Track account-level POS data and identify actionable insights to drive growth

  • Monitor pricing strategy, promotional ROI, and category performance in partnership with internal analysts

Market Intelligence & Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of market and home trend shifts to influence product roadmap and category expansion

  • Provide competitive analysis and feedback to merchandising and marketing teams


Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12+ years in sales or account management within the home goods or consumer products industry

  • Must have experience managing relationships with off-price and mass retailers, including HomeGoods, T.J.Maxx, or comparable accounts

  • Demonstrated success in both branded and private label programs

Industry Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of home categories including decorative accessories, soft home, storage, kitchen, furniture, and/or seasonal

  • Knowledge of retail compliance requirements, shipping logistics, and off-price merchandising models

Sales & Negotiation:

  • Proven track record of growing large retail accounts through strategic selling and exceptional relationship management

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills

Systems & Tools:

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and sales tracking tools

  • Familiarity with retail portals (e.g., SPS Commerce, Retail Link) and ERP/forecasting systems

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred


Location Notice:

This is a full-time, onsite role based at our current headquarters in Bell, CA (90201). In Q1 of 2026, this role will transition to our new corporate office in Beverly Hills, CA (90210). Candidates must be able to work onsite at both locations.

COMPENSATION

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

Compensation Range

$150,000 - $165,000 USD
