Work Location

This position is based onsite at our current Bell, CA office and will transition to our new Beverly Hills, CA headquarters in Q1 2026. Candidates must be able to commute to both locations.


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate. This role is critical in supporting product strategy, executing merchandising plans, and ensuring alignment with brand goals and market trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of women's and men's fashion, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for bringing quality products to market.


Key Responsibilities

Merchandising Strategy & Execution

  • Assist in developing and executing merchandising strategies for men’s apparel collections.

  • Create and maintain seasonal line plans, product assortments, and collection overviews.

  • Participate in the selection of key styles, colorways, and fabrications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with design, production, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and seasonal transitions.

  • Work closely with vendors to manage timelines, negotiate costs, and track the delivery of samples and finished goods.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to inform inventory management, replenishment strategies, and future assortments.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth.

Product Management

  • Input and maintain product information—including SKUs, pricing, and specifications—in internal systems and PLM software.

  • Monitor and manage the performance of men’s product lines, recommending strategies to optimize sales.

Presentations & Communication

  • Prepare presentations and reports for seasonal line reviews, assortment meetings, and internal strategy sessions.

  • Communicate key updates, timelines, and deliverables to cross-functional teams.


Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or product management, with a focus on men’s apparel.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and the apparel market.

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software; Centric PLM experience highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with major retail accounts or department stores.

  • Understanding of cost structures and product development timelines.

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

Compensation Range

$30 - $35 USD
