Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing data from various sources, including website interactions, third-party integrations, and internal data systems.
- Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, including relational databases and cloud data platforms.
- Build and optimize data models and schemas to support business intelligence, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data quality processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Automate cron jobs and scheduled tasks related to data processing and pipeline execution.
- Demonstrate proficiency in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends, and proactively suggest improvements to our data infrastructure.
- Contribute to the overall development of the data engineering team.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various data warehousing and data processing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with cloud data services.
- Advanced Python skills with a focus on data manipulation using dataframes (e.g., Pandas).
- Experience in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques and experience with different data structures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
