ROLE OVERVIEW
Fashion Nova is revolutionizing fast fashion—bringing trend-forward, unapologetically bold, and culturally relevant style to millions of customers worldwide. We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Product Development and Product – Swim & Lingerie to lead the charge in owning and scaling two of our most high-performing categories. In this role, you’ll oversee the full product lifecycle—driving speed-to-market, fit accuracy, and innovation while keeping our customer and trend-first DNA at the core. You will partner closely with Design, Technical, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure flawless execution from concept to customer.This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, trend-driven, digital-first retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Ownership
• Lead product development across Swim and Lingerie categories with a laser focus on trend relevance, speed, and margin
• Translate fashion-forward concepts into rapid-turn product lines that meet the Fashion Nova aesthetic and commercial goals
• Collaborate with Design and Buying to drive monthly drops and capsules that hit social and cultural moments
• Continuously analyze performance, sell-throughs, and market trends to optimize future assortments
Development & Execution
• Oversee all stages of development—from initial tech pack through final SMS and bulk approvals
• Ensure consistent fit and quality standards across all SKUs through partnership with Technical Design
• Own and manage development timelines, tracking samples, vendor WIPs, and production milestones
• Troubleshoot issues in fit, construction, and delivery to maintain aggressive calendar targets
Cross-functional Partnership
• Work closely with Marketing and Creative teams to support storytelling, launches, and influencer campaigns
• Coordinate with overseas vendors and factories to ensure agile production and clear communication
• Partner with Sourcing to ensure cost-efficient production without compromising on speed or aesthetic
Team & Leadership
• Manage and mentor a team of product developers and/or coordinators
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and executional excellence
• Champion best practices in fast fashion development processes and tools
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of Product Development and Production Experience
- Costing experience and the ability to negotiate costs with vendors and suppliers
- Intermediate level understanding of G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent time-management and organization skills to consistently meet deadlines
- Deep knowledge of footwear construction, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing a global supplier base and complex product timelines.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and PLM systems; familiarity with 3D tools a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Supply Chain Management
- English, additional language(s) an advantage
- Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
