Position Overview:

FastSpring is looking for a self-driven, coachable, and relentlessly curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing APAC sales team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our presence in the expansive APAC region, which offers incredible chances to learn, grow, and drive revenue growth. You’ll play a key role in expanding our reach in industries navigating the complexities of global eCommerce, such as SaaS, software, gaming, and digital products.

This position is remote, with limited travel expected for tradeshows, in-person team onsites and events.

Typical Daily Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate awareness and interest in FastSpring’s platform across global markets, particularly in industries like SaaS, software, gaming, and digital products.
  • Execute creative outbound prospecting strategies with a disciplined approach, including: cold calls, personalized email outreach, video messages, and social channels to build a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to schedule and hand off high-quality meetings that align with target customer profiles and strategic priorities.
  • Use Salesforce daily to log activity, track progress, manage pipeline stages, and maintain accurate and organized prospect data.
  • Apply strong communication and influencing skills to navigate early conversations, identify buying signals, and uncover customer pain points.
  • Actively seek feedback, test new approaches, and continuously refine your prospecting techniques to improve results.
  • Represent FastSpring at virtual and in-person events to expand awareness and build relationships in key regions

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of quota-carrying lead generation experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Business proficiency in spoken Mandarin and English required; intermediate written Mandarin a plus.
  • Ability to focus on results while working independently.
  • Self-starter, capable of organizing tasks and staying focused in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm, focused business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues.
  • Possess an interest in payments, gaming, eCommerce software, and/or other web/internet applications.
  • Interest in working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a rapidly expanding and changing market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the payments industry.
  • Experience within the gaming industry.
  • Experience selling into the Greater China Market 

Compensation:

This role carries an annual on-target earnings (OTE) of SGD 90,000, comprised of a base salary of SGD 63,000 and a sales variable component of SGD 27,000 (70/30 split).
