Job Summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. This position is ideal for someone with great attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and startup mentality. You will provide timely, accurate data, analyze variances and build reporting vital for financial statement presentation. This position will aid in budget creation, monitoring performance and communicating cross-functional results. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a high energy and rapidly evolving environment.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and analyze the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting package, including the development of robust revenue, expense and cash forecast assumptions
  • Support the preparation, compilation and review of the annual budget
  • Prepare, evaluate, and communicate results of monthly departmental variance reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with departments and functional teams to gather insights, support financial initiatives, track KPI’s and implement best practices
  • Identify financial trends and analyze market data to inform financial strategy
  • Participate in special projects and create additional ad-hoc analysis and models utilizing raw data from multiple sources
  • Ensure financial reporting and activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and accounting principles
  • Create and optimize existing processes by leveraging software and data efficiency

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of accounting or finance related experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (logic-based formulas, large data set manipulation, etc.)
  • Expertise in financial modeling tools and software (Vena Reporting, Tableau, etc.)
