Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Cyber Wing Financial Management Support to work at Hurlburt Field AFB. FL.

 A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • The contractors shall provide financial management support and analysis to the 67 CW staff and subordinate units. They will also generate strategic monthly, quarterly, and fiscal planning and execution reports (A001) for all years for 67 CW Command and Wing staff using the available accounting systems.
  • Perform and conduct data collection and analysis, including business case analysis, analysis of alternatives, cost-benefit analysis, financial impact analysis, government budget planning, expenditure tracking and reconciliation, cost allocation, and cost recovery. Additionally, contractor must be able to generate and interpret all accounting system and program management reports for analysis and management oversight.
  • Analyze multiple data sources to generate strategic fiscal planning reports for 67 CW Command and Wing staff.
  • Operate and improve on existing tools and models, build new financial models to analyze and reconcile program data plus forecast over the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) and develop program reports and recommendations for improvements regarding the overall budget and execution process and strategic reporting capabilities.
  • Prepare briefings and reports for 67 CW to summarize estimates, findings, cost-benefit analysis and recommend the best courses of action. (A005)
  • Provide the status of tasks no later than 5 business days after assignment or on an as-required basis. The status of tasks shall be reported weekly, until completed/published.
  • Assist in identifying and defining requirements and resources for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes to meet 67 CW strategic goals. This includes assisting with identifying future needs and the corresponding fund type for resourcing in the areas of manpower, information technology, travel, training and annual supply needs.
  • Document, maintain, and store requirements and associated information in appropriate government approved formats and electronic government approved shared location(s).
  • Documents/products are due within 5 business days after tasking or on an as-required basis. The status of tasks shall be reported weekly, until completed/published.
  • Serve as liaisons between group/unit resource managers and the wing comptroller and budget officer and will up-channel issues and solutions to funding challenges.
  • Assist with assigned taskers and metrics from higher headquarters and provide subject matter expertise as needed.

Certifications:

  • DoD Financial Management Certification (DoD FM) Level II or higher 

Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
