Head of Brand, Content & Communications

Remote

Federato is on a mission to defend the right to efficient, equitable insurance for all. We enable insurers to provide affordable coverage to people and organizations facing the issues of today - the climate crisis, cyber-attacks, social inflation, etc. Our vision is understood and well funded by those behind Salesforce, Veeva, Zoom, Box, etc.

Federato is the only AI-native platform that spans the full policy lifecycle and changes the way insurance work gets done. Better decisioning is built-in, not bolted on: insurers' unique portfolio goals, strategies, rules, and appetite are part of the workflow so underwriters win the right deals, faster. From the moment a submission hits an underwriter’s inbox, AI is put to work, triaging submissions with a focus on high-appetite business, delivering real-time feedback on the portfolio, and consolidating workflows into a single proven system. Federato drives better business outcomes.

Head of Brand, Content & Communications is the senior leader responsible for shaping how the world understands Federato: our identity, our narrative, our voice, our perception in the market, and how the brand shows up across every stage of the customer lifecycle.

This leader will be the architect of the Federato brand:

  • Who we are in the market
  • How we are perceived (and measured)
  • How we express ourselves visually, verbally, emotionally
  • How every prospect, customer, partner, investor, and analyst experiences Federato

You are equal parts strategist, creator, and operator, with the leadership presence to inspire a team and the depth of experience to set a new standard for brand in B2B technology.

What You’ll Own:

Brand Strategy, Leadership & Market Narrative

  • Define and execute a holistic, global brand strategy that aligns with company goals, connects brand to demand, and resonates with every key stakeholder, from analysts to underwriters to executives.
  • Own and evolve Federato’s brand positioning, visual identity, and storytelling architecture to reflect our category-defining vision.
  • Ensure brand governance and consistency across all regions, channels, and partnerships, with room for smart localization where needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, product, sales, customer success and leadership to ensure the brand fuels strategic initiatives, market momentum, and commercial growth.

Brand Perception & Measurement

  • Develop and operationalize a rigorous measurement framework for quantifying brand perception, including awareness, preference, sentiment, message penetration, and competitive SOV.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide brand investments, creative decisions, and executive strategy, making brand performance a visible, measurable lever for business outcomes.
  • Maintain ongoing benchmarking and reporting to track brand momentum and shape long-term planning.

Integrated Campaigns, Creative & Media Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end development of integrated brand campaigns spanning digital, events, social, paid media, and sales enablement, that elevate Federato’s position as the category leader.
  • Craft and implement a comprehensive brand media strategy to ensure optimal reach, engagement, and ROI across all channels.
  • Manage relationships with creative, media, and advertising agencies: delivering clear briefs, ensuring excellence, and maintaining alignment with brand standards.
  • Continuously evaluate campaign performance to optimize spend, maximize brand awareness and affinity, and accelerate pipeline impact.
  • Oversee creative direction across all major brand expressions including keynotes, product launches, executive communications, and hero brand moments.

Content Strategy & Communications

  • Build and scale a high-performing content engine across long-form, multimedia, web, thought leadership, product narratives, and flagship brand stories.
  • Ensure content reinforces Federato’s leadership in agentic AI, delivers proprietary insight, and supports the full customer lifecycle.
  • Own all corporate communications, PR, analyst relations, and executive visibility programs to amplify Federato’s voice and credibility.

Brand Through the Sales Cycle

  • Partner with sales, product marketing, and revenue operations to ensure the brand is expressed with excellence at every stage from emails and collateral to demos, proposals, and customer events.
  • Establish systems to measure touchpoint consistency, engagement, and impact on conversion.

What You Bring:

  • 12+ years of senior leadership in brand, content, creative, and communications, ideally in high-growth B2B SaaS.
  • Proven experience building and scaling world-class brands that challenge incumbents and define new categories
  • Expert-level mastery of brand identity systems, verbal identity, storytelling, and experience design
  • Deep expertise in quantifying brand performance and turning insights into strategic, commercial impact.
  • Experience leading creative, content, and communications teams under one unified brand strategy
  • A portfolio of breakthrough work across brand campaigns, narratives, and integrated experiences
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and strategic judgment.
  • A bias for clarity, action, and high standards. You demand great work and know how to produce it
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation, high-ownership environment.

Here at Federato, your capabilities are important, but culture fit is quintessential. We move fast, are eager to listen to our users, take a first principles approach to solving problems, and value learning and the ability to change our minds. Most importantly, we're here to have fun. Our ability to make a difference starts with our people. We would love to work with you!

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
