About Figure

Figure (NASDAQ: FIGR) is transforming capital markets through blockchain. We’re proving that blockchain isn’t just theory - it’s powering real products used by hundreds of thousands of consumers and institutions.

By combining blockchain’s transparency and efficiency with AI-driven automation, we’ve reimagined how loans are originated, funded, and traded in secondary markets. From faster processing times to lower costs and reduced bias, our technology is helping borrowers, investors, and financial institutions achieve better outcomes.

Together with our 170+ partners, we’ve originated over $17 billion in home equity loans (HELOCs) on our blockchain-native platform, making Figure the largest non-bank provider of home equity financing in the U.S. Figure’s ecosystem also includes YLDS, an SEC-registered yield-bearing stablecoin that operates as a tokenized money market fund, and several other products and platforms that are reshaping consumer finance and capital markets.

We’re proud to be recognized as one of Forbes’ Most Innovative Fintech Startups in 2025 and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in Finance and Personal Finance.

About the Role

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to architect and scale technical integrations for mortgage lending partners. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering and is responsible for designing integration solutions, accelerating onboarding, and ensuring partners fully leverage our API, webhook, and identity infrastructure.

You will work with enterprise and institutional partners from technical discovery through integration and early scale as a trusted technical advisor. You will work directly with partners to ensure implementations are robust and scalable. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and documenting integration architectures, workflows, and data exchanges.
  • Guiding partners through implementation using clear technical best practices.
  • Proactively mitigating integration risks to accelerate onboarding and troubleshoot complex issues during implementation and early production.

Over time, you will help build more scalable onboarding infrastructure — including documentation, integration templates, and reusable patterns — to enable efficient, repeatable partner launches.

What You'll Do

Technical Discovery & Solution Architecture

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective and signed partners
  • Understand partner systems (CRM, LOS, servicing platforms, identity providers)
  • Design scalable API and webhook integration architectures
  • Recommend preferred implementation patterns and identify edge cases and platform constraints early
  • Document solution designs for internal and external stakeholders

Integration Enablement & Acceleration

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor during API onboarding
  • Guide partners through REST API, webhook, authentication, and SSO flows
  • Support sandbox testing and production readiness
  • Reduce integration time by standardizing implementation patterns
  • Bridge partner engineering teams with internal Product and Engineering

Post-Launch Optimization & Expansion

  • Identify opportunities to expand API and real-time data usage
  • Improve partner workflows to increase throughput and ROI
  • Surface product gaps with structured technical feedback
  • Contribute to improved documentation and integration playbooks

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Solution Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong fluency with APIs and integration patterns (REST, JSON, webhooks), including the ability to design and debug end-to-end integrations.
  • Deep understanding of authentication and identity standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM) and secure system design principles.
  • Proven experience partnering with enterprise engineering teams to implement scalable, production-grade integrations.
  • Ability to architect full system workflows and data exchanges — not just explain endpoints — with clear tradeoff analysis.
  • Experience translating ambiguous partner requirements into structured technical implementation plans and strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues across distributed systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an affinity for technical documentation.
  • Comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Partnerships) and providing actionable product feedback.
  • Experience in fintech (or regulated financial services environments) and familiarity integrating with CRMs, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), and other financial platforms is a plus.

Salary

  • Compensation Range: $115,000-$145,000/yr
  • 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
  • Company equity in the form of RSUs
  • This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, 401k, and commuter benefits
  • Employer-funded life and disability insurance coverage
  • 11 Observed Holidays & PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks paid family leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
