DTC UI Visual Designer
About Flamingo Flamingo is an award-winning body, hair, and care brand delivering high-performance, thoughtfully designed products at an accessible price. Since launching in 2018, we’ve become the #3 player in women’s shave in the U.S. and expanded our assortment to offer products for every routine: razors, wax steps for face and body, shave gel, and body lotion. Our products and campaigns have been covered by Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and InStyle, and we’ve won major beauty accolades from Allure and Essence. With a mission to empower women, Flamingo is committed to partnering with nonprofit partners working to help women and girls build healthy relationships with their bodies and has helped connect over 200K people to quality mental health and wellbeing resources.
Flamingo is part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, and Mando. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,” the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date. |

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly collaborative Visual Designer to help shape the digital presence of the Harry’s and Flamingo brands, primarily supporting the DTC websites, campaigns, and product experiences. This is ideal for someone who understands the importance of consistency, scalability, and user-first thinking and who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
You will work closely with the DTC team (UX Architect, Engineering, and Product Management) to support web usability, design systems, and scalable UI solutions, while also collaborating with the Creative and Brand teams to express a cohesive and compelling brand narrative across touchpoints. This role is perfect for someone who brings strong creative vision and growth-minded analytical approach
About You
You have a sharp eye for visual detail and a passion for creating intuitive, polished, and user-friendly interfaces. You thrive on translating brand identity into scalable UI systems that enhance the user experience and support business goals. Layout, hierarchy, typography, and interaction patterns come naturally to you, and you think in terms of both creativity and consistency. You collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers, and understand how your visual decisions support broader design strategies. You stay current on evolving web standards, accessibility best practices, and emerging design trends — and bring that energy into everything you create. You’re energized by fast-paced, collaborative environments and are always looking for ways to make the digital experience more beautiful, cohesive, and effective.
What you will accomplish:
- Translate creative direction and brand positioning and identity into clean, scalable, user-friendly UI designs.
- Create and refine page layouts, component variations, and responsive patterns based on user needs and design system guidelines.
- Work in Figma to produce high-fidelity visuals that align with our design standards, accessibility principles, and implementation feasibility.
- Ensure pixel-perfect handoff to engineering and partner with dev teams during build phases.
- Contribute visual refinements and documentation to our shared design system.
- Partner with the UX Architect to align visual choices with usability goals, product strategy, and conversion performance.
- Help maintain consistency across brands and surfaces by adhering to established guidelines and proposing enhancements where appropriate.
- Leverage data-driven insights from A/B testing to continuously refine creative strategies, enhancing performance and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to bring campaigns, narratives, and seasonal initiatives into the product space in a cohesive, on-brand way.
- Ensure digital designs reflect brand tone, personality, and visual identity, while also supporting usability and flexibility.
This should describe you:
- 2–4 years of experience in digital or visual design, with a strong focus on UI for web and mobile.
- Portfolio that demonstrates clean, thoughtful UI work and sensitivity to brand expression.
- Strong working knowledge in creative software and tools such as Figma; bonus for experience working with shared libraries and tokens.
- Comfortable collaborating with UX, product, engineering, marketing, and creative teams.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and component-based systems.
- Experience with user research and usability testing methods to identify and resolve pain points
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use statistical evidence to drive creative decisions.
- Exceptional organization, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- You take pride in craft and execution, and are passionate about creating intuitive, beautiful user experiences.
- You’re ego-free, curious, and solutions-oriented — motivated by the success of the team and the clarity of the end experience.
Here is who you will work with:
- Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketplaces and Engagement Marketing with a dotted-line to the Harry’s and Flamingo UX Architect
- Working closely with the full Harry’s and Flamingo DTC team (UX Architect, Product Manager, and Engineering team)
