Senior Partner Account Manager

Remote - USA

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Partner Account Manager to join our partnerships team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end relationships for a portfolio of key channel partners, building and nurturing relationships that deliver strong, mutually beneficial business outcomes for both Fleetio and our partners. You will collaborate closely with each partner to establish revenue goals, define clear KPIs and success metrics, and develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed these targets.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of closing and managing complex partner relationships and delivering high-impact results. This role will be pivotal in growing Fleetio’s business through key partnerships and shaping our partner engagement strategies and processes.

Your Impact:

  • Develop, onboard, manage, and expand relationships with key strategic channel partners and develop plans to achieve joint business goals
  • Oversee end-to-end partner relationships and act as the primary implementation, go-to-market, and escalation point of contact for your partners
  • Use data to research, craft, and host effective strategic meetings with channel partners, including QBRs, to increase revenue, customer adoption, partner engagement, and reduce attrition
  • Analyze partnership performance, optimize strategies to improve outcomes, and share key insights with stakeholders
  • Continuously improve internal and external processes to enhance efficiency and expand partner impact as we scale our Channel Partner management playbook and processes
  • Serve as a liaison between Channel Partners and Fleetio, connecting SMEs where appropriate and aligning partner goals with Fleetio’s strategic business initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to drive successful outcomes for Partners and our mutual customers

Your Experience:

  • Industry Expertise:
    • 5+ years of experience in the automotive or fleet industry with exposure to fleet managed maintenance programs and partnerships
    • 3+ years in a B2B software company in an account executive/account management role
  • Experience building programs or processes from the ground up in a high-growth environment
  • Strong strategic thinking, with a bias for action and the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision
  • Sales Exposure: Ability to articulate a value proposition and overcome objections
  • Relationship building: Ability to establish and maintain a constructive, positive, and collaborative relationship with partners and coworkers
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work across diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in dealing with the ambiguity and pace of working in a fast-paced startup-within-a-scaleup environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive Mindset: Proactive, hands-on mindset with solid time management skills and ability to manage products and meet deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency: Highly proficient in computer skills, including Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, and software/channel sales tools.
