Strategy & Operations Manager, Marketplace
We’re looking for an analytical, execution-driven Strategy & Operations Manager to help scale Fleetio’s Maintenance Shop Network (MSN) – a fast-growing marketplace business that operates like a startup within Fleetio, combining the autonomy of a new venture with the resources and reach of an established SaaS leader. MSN connects fleets to thousands of verified repair shops through a unified digital marketplace. It sits at the intersection of software, payments, and services - bridging the gap between fleets and the physical world of vehicle maintenance.

Who you are
In this role, you’ll contribute to the overall strategy and key initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and adoption of the Shop Network. You’ll partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Finance, and GTM to shape how the marketplace operates and evolves — including areas such as pricing, economics, network design, and customer activation.
You’ll play a hands-on role in building the systems, processes, and programs that make the Shop Network scalable, data-driven, and operationally excellent.

You’ll have the best of both worlds: the agility of a startup and the stability of an established SaaS platform. Your impact
Strategic Initiatives
- Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that expand the Shop Network’s reach, efficiency, and profitability
- Contribute to Shop Network strategy including pricing, vendor economics, long-range (3-year) planning, and marketplace expansion
- Develop and validate business cases for new offerings, incentives, and growth programs
Growth & Product Enablement
- Help launch new products and initiatives that accelerate marketplace adoption and revenue growth
- Partner with Product and Partnerships on supply-demand strategy and customer activation programs
- Identify and implement programs to activate Fleetio customers and increase MSN participation
Operational Excellence
- Build better systems and processes across the customer lifecycle — from sales and onboarding through post-activation success
- Streamline workflows between operations, support, finance, and GTM to enhance customer experience
- Own performance dashboards, define KPIs, and monitor business health and leading indicators
Leadership & Enablement
- Prepare insights and recommendations for executive and board-level discussions
- Collaborate with MSN and other functional leadership to set annual and quarterly priorities
Your experience
- 4–6 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking/private equity, business operations, marketplace operations, or high-growth SaaS
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets fluency required)
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and drive cross-functional execution
- Clear, structured communicator who can influence across teams and leadership levels
- Strong business judgment with experience in marketplaces, logistics, or transaction-driven businesses
- Entrepreneurial mindset — energized by ambiguity and building structure in fast-moving environments
