Strategic Account Executive, New Verticals
Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2025 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

A hybrid work model with remote flexibility is offered.

- Prioritize, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities with urgency
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives at prospective partner organizations, understanding their strategic priorities and positioning Flex’s solutions accordingly
- Develop and refine outreach, pitching, and negotiation strategies to consistently engage C-level stakeholders and secure marquee accounts
- Optimize partnership terms and economics by collaborating closely with Finance, ensuring each deal meets or exceeds Flex’s strategic and financial objectives
- Refine our Embed GTM offering, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing to identify and incorporate learnings into our product, pricing and positioning, to help us win
- Establish repeatable frameworks, processes, and best practices that enable rapid growth and expand Flex’s ability to quickly break into new markets
Key qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to close deals in new markets with new product/service offerings
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with strong comfort operating at the C-suite level
- Deep strategic thinking combined with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, iterate rapidly, and pivot as market dynamics evolve
- Strong financial acumen, with experience building deal models and justifying complex partnership economics
- Proven leadership capabilities, via direct management and cross-functional collaboration
- Comfort with ambiguity and change, thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands urgency and adaptability
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
