About the role:
We’re looking for an exceptional Enterprise Sales Executive to lead Floodbase’s expansion in the insurance and government sectors and identify new high-impact enterprise opportunities. This is a strategic, high-autonomy role focused on selling our flood data solutions to current clients, while also testing and validating new verticals across financial services, logistics, and infrastructure. This role requires travel. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle for data and software sales within insurance and government - lead generation through discovery, solution design, contract negotiation, and close
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with product and data science teams to shape offerings based on client feedback and market trends
  • Prospect and launch new enterprise verticals (e.g., infrastructure, real estate, finance), conducting early-stage discovery, pilots, and feedback loops
  • Represent Floodbase at conferences, webinars, and industry panels

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 2 years selling data, SaaS, or analytics solutions to insurance carriers or financial institutions
  • Deep familiarity with the insurance ecosystem
  • Proven ability to close complex sales cycles and influence diverse senior stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the curiosity to explore new markets and the discipline to qualify them quickly
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
  • Self-starter, comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment
