Legal Counsel, Digital Assets

Flow Traders is looking for a Legal Counsel with a focus on Digital Assets to join our dynamic legal team in our Amsterdam office. In this role you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s Digital Assets capabilities and be a part of a team that values entrepreneurial spirit, drive, responsibility, and teamwork.

What you will do

• Review, draft, negotiate, and provide expert advice on a wide range of legal matters, including exchange membership and platform access documentation, issuer documentation such as authorized participant agreements and market-making agreements, brokerage, clearing, ISDA agreements and other types of financial and trading related agreements, onboarding counterparties (terms of business and other documentation), and Crypto related structures and agreements and agreements relevant to blockchain operations
• Build strong working relationships with departments such as Trading, Technology, Risk and Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and Business Development with a specific focus on digital assets focused team members
• Co-develop standard operating procedures, templates, and policies for the Legal Department

What you need to succeed

• Law Degree
• 3+ years of relevant experience within a legal team at a trading firm, consultancy firm or investment firm
• Experience with the financial market ecosystem and its documentation
• Understanding of the crypto industry and regulatory environment in digital assets and blockchain
• Strong communication skills in both English required; fluency in Dutch is a plus
• Flexible and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
