Financial Planner

Position Summary

Financial Planners work with individuals to meet short- and long-term financial goals. They understand complex financial and other related documents. Financial planners also have a good command of investments and security planning, estate planning, tax planning, employee benefits planning and insurance planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client interviews to gather financial information
  • Analyze financial data to identify planning opportunities
  •  Recommend customized financial plans based on client goals
  •  Monitor financial outcomes and ensure plan effectiveness
  •  Record detailed notes from client meetings
  •  Follow up on meeting deliverables and action items
  •   Respond to inquiries from clients and the VP team
  •  Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Exhibit a strong desire to work with and help people
  •  Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  •  Create business development opportunities through effective plan delivery
  • Maintain a commitment to delivering excellent results

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years experience delivering Financial Plans to prospects/clients
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates computer literacy and competency in utilizing software applications
  • Proficient in using Planning software (e.g., NaviPlan, Emoney, Money Guide Pro)

Required Qualifications

  • Series 65
  • CFP Credential

This position is a Exempt role. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $110,000-$135,000/yr. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
