Position Summary
As a People Coordinator, you’ll serve as a central point of intake for HR related inquiries and HRIS functions. The People Coordinator administers talent and human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. Promotes equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws. Provides comprehensive HR support, pro-active issue/problem identification and resolution, ensuring confidentiality is maintained. Position may require occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize tools and systems that support People Operations and Talent operations.
- Provide recruiting support to multiple locations across North America.
- Assist in onboarding new hires by ensuring all required documentation and processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner, as part of employee experience initiatives.
- Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) up-to-date with candidate information, application statuses, and recruitment metrics. Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights into recruitment performance.
- Support scheduling interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Develop and implement solutions in collaboration with People team members.
- Anticipate long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with People Leaders.
- Support the development of personnel policies, procedures, and workforce planning goals.
- Ensure company policies are applied fairly and consistently within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Communicate and implement policy and procedure updates effectively.
- Process employee pre-employment screening, onboarding and first day critical communications.
- Maintain timely and accurate HRIS data entry in ADP Workforce Now.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Support open enrollment and other benefits-related programs as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Preference for bilingual English/Spanish/French.
- Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and working under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office with solid organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Knowledgeable in employment laws, wage/hour regulations, staffing, and employee relations.
- Maintains confidentiality; demonstrates initiative, business acumen, and coaching abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Company will provide additional training, as necessary.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
