About Form Bio

Form Bio provides award-winning software and AI solutions for cell and gene therapy leaders. By combining data, technology and expertise, Form’s solutions accelerate timelines from discovery to clinic by providing drug developers with rapid in silico characterization and optimization of their therapeutics — enabling higher yields, better expression, enhanced safety and shorter, less-expensive development cycles. Form Bio’s proprietary, patent pending AI models are the first of their kind, purpose-built to solve the most complex challenges in genetic engineering and design for gene and nucleic acid-based therapies. With cross-disciplinary expertise spanning software engineering, biology, bioinformatics, AI, data science and wet lab validation, the Form Bio team collaborates closely with customers on their most pressing and strategic challenges and opportunities.

At Form Bio, we are building the digital infrastructure and bioplatforms for the future of genetic medicine. We operate at the intersection of deep tech and deep biology, where every team member is expected to think like a founder.

About the Role

We are looking for a high-impact Intern to join our Product team. We are looking for a deeply technical, incredibly resourceful individual who can operate as an independent unit. You will sit at the intersection of advanced genetic medicine and executable business strategy, helping us translate complex scientific plans into reality.

If you thrive in ambiguity, love "figuring things out" without a manual, and can speak the language of both science and sales, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Market Intelligence: Conducting deep-dive research into market trends and generating technical content to support Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Program Management: Drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) based on customer requirements and building comprehensive customer reports and presentations.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Managing multiple parallel projects and critical paths, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned on deliverables and timelines.
  • Scientific Communication: Translating high-level scientific plans into executable timelines and professional slide decks.

What We’re Looking For

The "Need to Haves"

  • Proactive Independence: You function as a self-directed unit. You don't wait for "hand-holding"; you anticipate what’s next and have a plan ready to go.
  • Project Mastery: Demonstrated experience managing multiple parallel projects, critical paths, and cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous Organization: You possess top-tier documentation skills and a "can-do" attitude toward complex administrative and technical hurdles.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High EQ with the ability to influence without authority and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Scientific Translation: The ability to take a scientific concept and turn it into a clear, executable project plan.
  • Adaptability: Total comfort with ambiguity and the rapid pace of a scaling biotech-software environment.

The "Nice to Haves"

  • Advanced Degree: Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD or MS in Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy, or a related bioscience field.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to perform molecular design and converse technically with both scientists and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Resourcefulness: A talent for web and market research—finding the "missing piece" of information that creates a competitive advantage.
  • Patience: The "added bonus" trait for navigating the complexities of long-term scientific development and cross-disciplinary communication.

Core Qualities for Success

  • Technical Fluency: You are deeply grounded in genetic medicine.
  • Self-Direction: You figure things out with minimal guidance.
  • Multilingualism: You can talk science with a mixed audience, from the bench to the boardroom.
  • High Output: You are a pro at scientific writing and high-quality slide-making.

At Form Bio, we strive to create an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need.
