The Marketing Team is tasked with articulating the value of Formic’s offering to a diverse audience and driving top of funnel growth. We are creative, organized, flexible, and entrepreneurial. Each week and month looks a bit different as we continue to experiment with new strategies and optimize our approach to existing channels. As the Demand Generation Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our company by deploying a full-funnel lead generation marketing strategy to power revenue opportunities. You are strategic yet execution-driven, capable of turning great content into pipeline. You understand that lead generation isn’t just about getting clicks - it’s about attracting the right buyers and nurturing them into sales-ready opportunities. You enjoy digging deeper to understand our ideal customer profile, contributing to the development of the overall strategy, brainstorming content and assets to engage top prospects, testing a wide range of opportunity generation platforms and approaches, and measuring it all to determine where to step on the gas. You'll work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and marketing team on a day to day basis to achieve and exceed the lead target for the month, quarter, and year.
As The Demand Generation Manager you will:
- Own the demand generation playbook - design, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action.
- Plan and track against monthly lead generation targets for the middle and bottom of the funnel
- Work closely with content, video, and graphic design team members to support content creation that will drive lead generation success
- Test and scale the right ICPs & value props across platforms, continually refining approach based on performance data
- Manage paid media (PPC, LinkedIn, retargeting, etc.)- acquire new leads efficiently while staying within budget
- Optimize SEO & content clusters to increase inbound traffic and drive high-intent prospects to the site
- Design and optimize nurture programs to keep leads engaged and accelerate deal velocity through the funnel
- Measure success through MQL > SQL > Closed-Won tracking, ensuring sales-ready leads are being created at the right cost per acquisition (CAC)
- Partner with Sales Operations to enhance lead flow tracking in HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring a seamless handoff to sales
- Continuously analyze performance and report insights to senior leadership, making data-backed recommendations for growth
What makes you a great fit:
- You have a proven track record of generating B2B leads and delivering results in a fast-paced business environment
- 5+ years of B2B experience in leading SEO, PPC, paid acquisition, email marketing, social media, website page development, content marketing, and marketing automation
- Strong analytical mindset - you’re comfortable with data and use it to refine creative execution
- A creative, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for creating exceptional B2B content.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work with various departments with a high degree of autonomy
- Naturally driven leader that constantly strives to succeed
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills in a remote work environment, including email and project plans
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
- For candidates located in the greater Chicago area, the willingness and abiility to work on a hybrid basis (3+ days/week) from our Woodridge, IL office
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience in the industrial automation, robotics, and/or manufacturing space
- Marketing to food, beverage, and CPG manufacturing operations teams
- Extensive work and high level of comfort with Hubspot and Salesforce
