Risk Analyst
About the role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and business oriented professional to join Forter’s global Risk team.
In this role, you will work closely with our go to market teams across APAC and EMEA, using data and analysis to support smart commercial decisions, deliver clear insights, and enable regional growth. This is a role at the intersection of risk, analytics, and business, with strong exposure to sales strategy, pricing, and customer facing work.
You will be part of a collaborative global team, working on real business questions with direct impact on revenue, merchant relationships, and long term growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Risk and analytics support across regions, including exposure assessments, data validation, KPI definition, and ROI analysis to clearly demonstrate value to merchants
- Support commercial and strategic decision making, including pricing structures, revenue margins, and new business opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Deal Ops, and Finance on opportunity level revenue modeling and short and long term forecasting
- Evaluate deals through an understanding of merchant pain points, competitive landscape, and go to market dynamics to support sustainable, long term partnerships
- Provide analytical support during the sales cycle, including joining prospect conversations and helping shape risk related solutioning
- Act as a bridge between regional go to market teams and central Analytics and R&D functions to ensure smooth execution of commercial and risk initiatives
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role such as data analytics or business analytics, ideally with exposure to commercial or go to market decision making. Fintech experience is a strong advantage
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply
- Ability to translate data into concrete business recommendations and measurable KPIs
- Strong ownership mindset, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across different time zones
- Good communication skills in English. Additional relevant languages are a plus
- Familiarity with analytical and data tools. Experience with Python or SQL is an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally and openness to potential future relocation based on business needs
