Cybersecurity Coordinator
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Cybersecurity Coordinator to their team in Longwood, FL.
Job Summary:
The Cybersecurity Coordinator provides essential administrative and organizational support to the Information Security team. This role focuses on coordinating cybersecurity-related activities, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication between departments—especially IT, HR, and Compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with IT, HR, Legal, and other departments to support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, track follow-ups, and ensure timely communication.
- Assist in coordinating vendor assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain organized records of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and incident documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and internal communications for the CISO and team.
- Monitor shared inboxes and route inquiries appropriately.
- Help organize cybersecurity awareness campaigns and employee training sessions.
- Coordinate logistics for webinars, workshops, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Track progress on cybersecurity projects and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
- Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn basic concepts.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model with occasional on-site meetings in Ormond Beach or Longwood.
