Senior System Administrator
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join one of our Prime Contracts supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform IAVA patching and reporting across enterprise systems.
- Maintain and administer Windows Server (various versions) and Linux server environments in a hybrid infrastructure.
- Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for IT systems, including both on-premise and cloud-hosted environments.
- Execute patching, software maintenance, and upgrades for Linux and Windows systems.
- Implement and manage Windows Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and perform PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
- Utilize AWS services, including EC2, Lambda functions, CloudFormation, and Cloud-native scripting to automate deployments and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Support infrastructure as code initiatives using Ansible and Terraform for automation, configuration management, and provisioning.
- Develop and maintain system scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and improve system reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required as specified in the individual TTOs
- Proficiency with maintaining various versions of Windows Server including hardening, patching, upgrading and disk management.
- Linux server experience including patching and software maintenance.
- Experience with IAVA patching and reporting
- Experience in maintaining and upgrades various types of installed software
- Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting of computer systems and software
- Must be able to work during core hours of M-F 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Desired Qualifications:
- D 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I
- Experience with PowerShell scripting language

The estimated salary range for this position is between $190,000-$240,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
