Director of Growth Marketing

About the Role:

We're looking for a data-driven Director of Growth Marketing to own and scale our full-funnel media strategy. This is a high impact, remote role, you'll lead and grow our internal paid media team, manage an agency partner on SEO/AEO, and roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor across needed channels. You'll oversee a multi-million dollar media budget and report directly to the Senior Director of Growth.

Specific Responsibilities:

Paid Media

  • Lead and manage the internal paid media team, with the opportunity to grow headcount as the business scales
  • Manage a $15M+ annual media budget with a focus on efficiency, iROAS, and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain robust reporting frameworks across all paid channels; translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership

Organic & SEO/AEO 

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert and day-to-day owner of SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy
  • Manage and hold accountable an external agency partner, setting KPIs, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with brand and business goals
  • Work with agency to guide content strategy, keyword targeting, and technical SEO priorities in partnership with the agency
  • Partner closely with product to manage plan and execution of technical updates

Strategy & Leadership

  • Own channel-level forecasting, budget planning, and performance reporting
  • Identify new channel opportunities and run structured tests to expand reach and efficiency
  • Partner with our incrementality agency to manage our models (MMM / Geo-test), test and report on incremental revenue for paid channels 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital media, or growth, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven track record managing significant media budgets ($15M+) in a B2C environment
  • Deep hands-on expertise across two or more of: Paid Search, Paid Social, YouTube, CTV, Affiliate, or Influencer Marketing
  • Working knowledge of SEO/AEO best practices and experience managing agency relationships
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable in platforms like Google Analytics and incrementality tools
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present complex performance data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, remote environment

Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details:

Health-E Commerce's compensation philosophy is grounded in market data and internal equity to ensure fairness and consistency across the team. Individuals new to the company should generally expect offers to fall between the entry point and midpoint of the salary range.  Our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression.  

  • Compensation: $150,000 - 180,000
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 20%
