Downtown Physical Therapy, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is seeking highly organized and service-focused Front Office Manager to support the daily administrative operations of our physical therapy clinic in Boston, MA. About the Role

As Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in managing schedules, systems, and patient communications behind the scenes. You’ll ensure a seamless administrative experience from scheduling through billing, while coordinating closely with clinicians and managing the overall flow of patient communications.

Your Typical Day:

  • Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate staff efficiently and professionally
  • Schedule appointments, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and support patient registration workflows
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure information is up-to-date in the EMR system
  • Coordinate with therapists to optimize scheduling and daily flow of appointments
  • Process payments and manage insurance-related inquiries with confidentiality
  • Stay informed about clinic services and programs to assist patients effectively
  • Manage multiple administrative responsibilities with strong time management and attention to detail

About You

You will be a great fit for this role if you bring the following:

  • Adaptable, professional, dependable, and eager to grow your career in a growing healthcare organization
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Highly organized and skilled in managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Patient-first and customer-service oriented. 
  • Proficiency with EMR scheduling software;
  • Two years experience as a medical office professional.  Physical Therapy setting a plus!
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and over the phone
