Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in our Haverhill, MA location. This is a full-time (40-hours per week) position. What you can do for us

  • Order Verification and Release
    • Review and verify sales orders against customer purchase orders (POs) for accuracy and completeness.
    • Assess customer credit limits and outstanding balances to approve or hold orders accordingly.
    • Ensure customers have no overdue invoices before authorizing order shipments. 
  • Responsible for submitting customer invoices
    • Submit invoices on customer portals timely and accurately
    • Email or mail invoices as required 
  • Ensure invoices align with customer’s PO
    • Adjust invoices as deemed necessary (i.e. currency conversions and banking information) and send to customer 
  • Collections Support and Account Management:
    • Collaborate with the Collections team to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist in communicating with customers regarding payment status, disputes, or billing inquiries. 
  • Special Projects and Cross-Functional Support:
    • Participate in special projects aimed at improving AR processes and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide backup support for other AR functions as needed. 
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline AR workflows and enhance system usage efficiency.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, industry standards, and software tools related to AR 

Who we’re looking for

  • Entry-level – 2 years’ experience 
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently 
  • A candidate who prefers a team-oriented atmosphere and can multi-task
