POSITION OVERVIEW
The Bermuda Risk function provides effective oversight of insurance, asset-liability management, investment and operational risks across our Bermuda organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft tables, charts, and commentary for inclusion in quarterly and annual risk reports and presentation decks for senior management or Board committees
- Assist with capital and solvency projection exercises under guidance, including preparation of scenario results and benchmarking against regulatory requirements
- Support validations and control reviews of actuarial/financial models by running sensitivity tests, documenting assumptions, and checking data consistency
- Assist with development and documentation of stress and scenario testing, including research on external risk drivers and preparation of input data
- Conduct ad hoc research on industry risk trends and peer company solvency disclosures to inform strategic initiatives and enhance risk analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong academic record in pursuit of a quantitative Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field), graduating in May 2027
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
