Who You Are:

Galaxy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Developer to join our Product Security team to implement security frameworks to be utilized by our technology teams and handle key implementation aspects of the integration of SAST/DAST security solutions. 

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement a framework for handling key management and the signature of on-chain transactions
• Partner with engineers to develop and implement security libraries and frameworks
• Implement key aspects of the integration of Security Application Static Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded in all aspects of the system

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Professional Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in technology or IT/security department
  • 4+ years of hands-on programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar
• Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in building software running in the cloud architecture, as containers and/or within Kubernetes
  • Understanding of cryptographic implantations in software engineering such as HMAC, PKCS, MPC
  • Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
  • Understanding of security tools and practices, including SAST, DAST, and other automated security testing tools
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology (a plus)
• Certifications:
  • Possession of a recognized security certification such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), or equivalent (a plus)
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
