  • Gain a working understanding of SoFi systems—specifically how transactions flow between equity administration platforms, payroll systems, and the general ledger—and help secure the best independent support for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Finance, HR, Equity Administration, and Payroll to assist in researching reconciling items, clearing them in a timely manner, and designing solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Work to streamline and improve equity and payroll reconciliation processes, identifying opportunities for automation within our reconciliation tools.
  • Enhance and document accounting and regulatory processes, narratives, and policies related to equity and payroll operations.
  • Prepare complete and easy-to-follow workpapers explaining issues, procedures, and conclusions.

  • Work closely with Stock Administration, Payroll, and Treasury departments to ensure that compensation and equity transactions are recorded properly under U.S. GAAP (specifically ASC 718).

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • Advanced fluency in English (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, and project management skills.
  • A forward-thinking and hands-on approach with a strong desire to learn complex compensation operations.
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to think creatively within a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and general ledger/reconciliation systems.
