Security Auditor Intern — Summer 2026
As a security auditor intern at Gallup, you’ll contribute meaningfully to the systems and processes that help safeguard our organization and the clients who trust us with their data.

At Gallup, you’re more than “just an intern.” This internship offers hands-on experience in security auditing and compliance while giving you the opportunity to help strengthen the policies, controls and processes that protect Gallup’s systems and information.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with internal audit activities (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) including preparation, documentation and coordination
- Support third-party risk assessments by helping review vendor security information and identifying potential risks
- Help review user access and permissions to ensure appropriate access controls are in place
- Explore opportunities to streamline compliance and security workflows using automation, AI tools and creating security baselines
What You Need
- Aptitude in the latest security principles, techniques and processes required, with an understanding of how to apply those principles to security-related technologies
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, working toward a degree in information assurance, cybersecurity or a related field required
- Enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, required
- Anticipated graduation between May 2026 and December 2026 preferred; will consider May 2027 graduates
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026 required
- A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha, Nebraska, office Monday-Thursday required, with the option to work remotely on Friday

- A full-time summer 2026 internship that pays $22-$28/hour
- The potential to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year, depending on business demands, and a potential full-time job offer upon graduation, based on Gallup’s business need and intern performance
