What You’ll Do

Assist with internal audit activities (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) including preparation, documentation and coordination
Support third-party risk assessments by helping review vendor security information and identifying potential risks
Help review user access and permissions to ensure appropriate access controls are in place
Explore opportunities to streamline compliance and security workflows using automation, AI tools and creating security baselines

What You Need

Aptitude in the latest security principles, techniques and processes required, with an understanding of how to apply those principles to security-related technologies
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, working toward a degree in information assurance, cybersecurity or a related field required
Enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, required
Anticipated graduation between May 2026 and December 2026 preferred; will consider May 2027 graduates
Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026 required
A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha, Nebraska, office Monday-Thursday required, with the option to work remotely on Friday
