Business Development Specialist — Workplace Solutions
Do you love hunting for new business, building relationships, uncovering clients' needs and closing deals?
As a business development specialist for workplace solutions at Gallup, you'll help organisations discover Gallup's workplace learning solutions while growing our open enrolment business across Australia and New Zealand. You'll generate new opportunities, reconnect with past clients and coaches, and grow your portfolio through consistent outreach, trusted relationships, and strong commercial instincts.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Gallup's open enrolment strategy across Australia and New Zealand, growing participation in Gallup courses, including Gallup Global Strengths Coach (GGSC), Successful Strengths Coaching (SSC), Engagement Champions and other learning experiences
- Build trusted relationships with strengths coaches, HR professionals and business leaders to uncover their development goals and recommend Gallup solutions
- Own and grow a portfolio of small and midsize organisations, serving as their primary contact for Gallup's workplace learning solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts and client records while consistently achieving performance goals
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through timely communication, thoughtful follow-up and professional account management
- Partner with consulting and business development colleagues to identify growth opportunities and deliver the right solutions for every client
- Develop expertise in Gallup's workplace learning offerings and confidently articulate their value to prospective clients

What You Need
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of client-facing experience through professional work or internships required, preferably in business development, account management, customer success, consulting or sales
- Passion for coaching, leadership development, CliftonStrengths® or organisational development preferred
- A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Sydney office at least three days per week required
- Eligibility to work in Australia required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
