Human Resources Specialist
Garda Capital Partners (Garda) is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 21 years of experience deploying relative value strategies across fixed income markets for institutional investors. Garda's primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.
Garda is looking to hire a Human Resources Specialist to work out of our Geneva office who will perform complex human resources services spanning data administration, compensation process administration, time administration, HRIS systems engagement, exit processing, service enablement, vendor management, benefits administration, audit reporting and other transactions to ensure the successful delivery of the human resources administrative services. This role in concert with the broader Human Capital team will assist in the implementation and improvement of human resources services administration activities for our European offices.
This critical position demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage end to end HR administration, including payroll, compensation process support, billing and invoice management, benefits, labor law compliance, time administration, audit participation, and HR systems, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational efficiency.
- Continuously support efforts to reshape, enhance, optimize HR processes, tools, and systems to enhance operational effectiveness through identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and implement industry best practices.
- Utilize HR data, metrics, and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees on HR policies and procedures and practices.
- Respond to employee complaints and concerns; in a timely manner while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with applicable Company policy and local statutes.
- Collaborate with colleagues in across a variety of functions to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR services.
- Partner with the Human Capital Management team and senior leaders to execute the Human Capital Management strategies aligned with business goals, company culture, and growth plans.

Qualifications & Desired Skills
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong knowledge of Swiss HR processes (payroll, compliance, benefits, leave), ideally within the field of financial services or investment management.
- Proven strategic thinking and ability to drive HR process optimization as well as align HR initiatives with long-term business goals.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Suite of tools, excellent Excel skills including VBA, and developing client-ready PowerPoint presentations for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to keep information confidential and leveraging sensitive information on a needs-only basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; native-level fluency in English and fluency in French, German is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.
