Billing Analyst

We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to assist our Finance division with billing, client communications and internal auditing.  This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Suitable candidates should live in the greater San Antonio area and have the ability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
• Manage and update multiple billing entries using accounting software.
• Reconcile billing records with payroll and other financial entries to ensure consistency.
• Ensure accurate posting of billing transactions for timely period-end close.
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve billing inquiries and offer support regarding invoicing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to complete billing processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and organizational flow in billing operations.
• Provide detailed financial reports and updates to the Accounting Manager and Senior Leaders. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of applicable experience in a Finance role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
• Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively with our Accounting team
• Preferred with billing software, such as SAGE 100/MAS 90 and Great Plains
• Preferred experience with Smartsheet
