
2026 Investor Operations Summer Intern
SUMMARY
The Investor Operations Intern will be part of a team that provides a superior level of service to our clients through various forms of communication. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work in a dynamic group environment and well-developed organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
- Respond to client inquiries in a prompt manner, utilizing both oral and written communications.
- Assist with the preparation of customized quarterly reports for clients.
- Identify and assist in identifying opportunities to improve process and automate certain manual functions.
- Assist with client presentations, deliverables and responses to ad hoc client requests/inquires.
- Manage and coordinate workflow and processes associated with client requests.
- Coordinate client deliverables with all departments throughout the firm.
- Operate in a deadline driven, constantly changing environment.
- Assist with other projects related to providing exemplary client service.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- An interest in financial markets and an aptitude for working with numbers.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- A basic understanding of statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
- The ability to manage tasks independently to closure.
- Strong attention to detail and concern for quality of final product (and ability to balance that concern with deadlines).
- A high degree of integrity and the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality.
- Solid interpersonal skills and work ethic.
Actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's experience, skills, and qualifications for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on factors such as individual, team, and company performance as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
CHICAGO ANNUAL PAY RANGE
$65,000 - $70,000 USD
