Key Purpose of Role

This exciting opportunity will work closely and collaboratively with the existing FP&A team in EMEA and US. This individual will be a key contributor to help strengthening and further build out a world class financial modelling and forecasting team for the firm.

The role will involve performing consolidated analysis at both firm and fund strategy levels, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. The position plays a critical part in shaping the firm’s financial outlook by developing and maintaining detailed revenue models for existing and new products, forecasting income streams, and consolidating key financial metrics such as management fees, performance-related earnings, and investment income.

This hands-on role will support the build-up of the firm’s corporate long term financial models, forecasting long term developments, introductions of new products, impact on margins and key KPIs over a longer period. Perform ad hoc analysis on special projects, including new fund strategies and the financial impact to the firm.

Another central aspect of the role is to collaborate closely with key business functions – including the broader Finance function, Fund Operations, Fund & Portfolio Analytics and Fundraising teams.

Due to the complex nature of the work, experience of working with asset management, private equity or financial services in general would be highly beneficial for this new team member.

Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Responsible for enhancing and maintaining detailed financial forecasting models for management fees, performance-related income, investment income, liquidity, and AUM/FEAUM at both consolidated and strategy/product levels.
  • Support long-term financial planning, including income statement projections, margin analysis, and new product introductions.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver profitability and KPI analysis for funds and strategies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual deliverables, including flash reporting, budgets, reforecasts, and updates to the corporate model.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, sensitivity modelling, and scenario planning to support leadership decisions.
  • Ensure data integrity and standardization across all models and forecasting processes.

Knowledge

  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining best practices in financial modelling and data governance.
  • Strong data visualisation and storytelling capability (e.g. with PowerPoint presentations).
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with PowerBI and Anaplan an advantage.
  • Knowledge of fund structuring and fund modelling an advantage.
  • Experience working within the PE or Investment Banking sectors desirable.
  • The ability to operate in an international team environment.
  • Strong academics.
