Key Purpose of Role
- Proactively work alongside the Head of Fund Operations to develop initiatives that align with GA’s vision and priorities.
- Lead & coordinate Fund Operations activities in relation to GP-co-invest, carry and SPV structures.
- Act as a business partner to key stakeholders across the firm.
- Serve as a single point of contact for the business teams and fund heads on all GP co-invest and carry matters.
- Ensure the investment teams and senior management are regularly updated on key fund operational issues & developments.
- Synthesise complex ideas and viewpoints into coherent conclusions that can provide clear insights to key stakeholders.
- Lead the review and analysis of reports to ensure these are completed in accordance with the agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
GP & Carry Schemes
- Close oversight of co-investment scheme administrators.
- Oversight of interim and YE audit.
- Driving consistency in accounting, administration and reporting.
- Responsible for group quarterly reporting involving planning of deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate delivery within accelerated timelines.
- Leading the automation and streamlining of group quarterly/annual/tax reporting obligations.
- Responsible for setting up of new co-investment schemes, coordinating with multiple stakeholders-lawyers, fund heads, tax team, LPs, KYC provider, administrators etc for successful onboarding.
- Ensuring that carry award letters are sent out to LPs as units are awarded.
- Coordinate with HCM and fund heads in LP carry allocations and ensuring all restrictions are complied with during distributions.
- Working with lawyers to deliver annual confirmations for carry schemes.
- Facilitating LP transfers.
- Ensuring timely liquidation of old entities, working with lawyers, administrators and internal stakeholders.
- Cash management – ensuring timely drawdown of LP equity/bridge and ensuring compliance with loan facility conditions. Responsible for presenting distribution analysis to the distribution forum and ensuring timely distribution to LPs.
- Regular vendor management to ensure that all the vendor invoices are managed within defined timelines and accurately.
- Regular follow up with LPs to ensure outstanding amounts are under control and completing KYC periodically to release distributions on a timely basis.
- Collaborating with the Analytics team to provide necessary inputs for various analytical models & LP dashboards.
- Manage LP communications ensuring all LP responses are addressed on a timely and accurate basis.
- Responsible for SOX compliance across all GP co-invest and carry processes.
SPV accounting
- Responsible for timely record keeping and reporting of 150+ SPVs.
- Lead audit planning for all the SPV financials, coordinating with regional administrators, deal team, funds team and audit team. Ensure regular tracking of audit progress to meet regulatory/lender’s reporting timelines.
- Review of financials & working closely with administrators to deliver improvements/KPIs.

Knowledge
- A professional qualification in accountancy or an MBA desired with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Sound knowledge of private equity fund administration activities.
- Sound understanding of UK/US GAAP & IFRS.
- Can demonstrate the ability and track record to learn and grasp new processes.
- Exposure to setting up new processes and controls ensuring all compliance and controls.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly in Excel) and ERP.
- The ability to operate in an international team environment.
