Operations Analyst

How You Can Make an Impact
Geneva Trading is looking for a motivated Operations Analyst to join our Chicago office. As a member of our Operations team, you will provide essential front-line support for our traders.

We seek candidates with a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

  • Perform daily trading reconciliations and other post-trade activities, including handling invoices, brokerage, rebates, market data fees, and trade breaks.
  • Collaborate with our accounting department to ensure they receive detailed reconciliation reports.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and requests on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our proprietary systems.
  • Provide real-time support by responding to emails, chats, and trader requests.
  • Manage position transfers between counterparties and exchanges.
  • Assist with trader onboarding and offboarding, including setting up new accounts.

What You'll Need

  • A BS or MS degree in a STEM-related field with a solid academic record.
  • 3+ plus years of experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiar with SQL Server or another relational database is highly desired.
  • A demonstrated interest and/or experience in financial markets and derivatives products.
  • Passion for innovating solutions through AI-driven creativity.
  • Ability to use AI to automate routine tasks and solve complex problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a small team.
  • This role is onsite in our Chicago Office.
