Operations Analyst
How You Can Make an Impact
Geneva Trading is looking for a motivated Operations Analyst to join our Chicago office. As a member of our Operations team, you will provide essential front-line support for our traders.
We seek candidates with a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Perform daily trading reconciliations and other post-trade activities, including handling invoices, brokerage, rebates, market data fees, and trade breaks.
- Collaborate with our accounting department to ensure they receive detailed reconciliation reports.
- Manage relationships with external vendors.
- Handle ad hoc projects and requests on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop a deep understanding of our proprietary systems.
- Provide real-time support by responding to emails, chats, and trader requests.
- Manage position transfers between counterparties and exchanges.
- Assist with trader onboarding and offboarding, including setting up new accounts.
What You'll Need
- A BS or MS degree in a STEM-related field with a solid academic record.
- 3+ plus years of experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiar with SQL Server or another relational database is highly desired.
- A demonstrated interest and/or experience in financial markets and derivatives products.
- Passion for innovating solutions through AI-driven creativity.
- Ability to use AI to automate routine tasks and solve complex problems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a small team.
- This role is onsite in our Chicago Office.
