Senior Agile Project Manager

You will contribute to bringing best practice solutions, and innovative ideas, and build out repeatable delivery capabilities through iterative project implementations within the client's Digital Division. You must be able to effectively communicate both technically with engineers and business users and leaders to quickly understand requirements and translate them into delivery pathways.
You should feel comfortable consulting with senior management within the client, backed by a strong understanding of their business objectives, while translating technical solutions and issues into language that is understandable by a non-technical audience. You should possess strong analytical, project management skills, and functional knowledge in the media and digital spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and monitor all activities for major technology-based projects from initiation to closing. Projects cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines.
- Work with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives.
- Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management and resolution, communication with business lines and technology management, often at senior management levels.
- Work closely with senior experienced program managers to contribute to the overall projects and programs deliveries.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the management and technical project leads such that all our client's Digital activities are closely aligned with the customer's business case, allowing the full potential of our client's Digital products and platforms to be realized.
- Establish post-implementation adoption activities to closely monitor the success of our stakeholders’ initiatives
- Serve as a customer advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of our client's Digital product and platform functionality
- Ensure regular and accurate reporting of project progress, issues, and direction with business stakeholders and end-users
- Become an expert on our client's Digital products, tools, and services
- Identify and drive opportunities for platform innovation and growth
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant work experience with demonstrated client-facing experience
- An exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable advising business partners in best practices and promoting optimal technical solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience with User-Centered design principles, A/B Testing and MVP Framework concepts
- Experience working in media industry and/or digital space
- Hands-on experience using SCRUM/Agile and PMBOK methodologies to manage solution delivery (Scrum certified a plus)
- Hands-on experience with tools supporting Agile collaboration (such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, SmartSheet, MS Office, Slack, etc.)
- Experience with cloud / SaaS solutions and business models
- BA/BS degree required from a top-tier university and/or equivalent experience
- Experience working with a virtual team and in a remote environment.
