Givens Estates is looking for a full time Dining Team Leader to join our growing Dining Services team! The primary responsibility as the Dining Team Leader is to support the Dining Leadership to provide the highest quality of service for residents, visitors & staff. They will also assist in supporting and ensuring that the Dining Department is in compliance with and maintains dietary standards.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain responsibility for organization set-up and closing of kitchen, dish room, and the Deli
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events and functions
  • Respond and answer resident concerns, requests, & questions
  • Maintain sanitation & organization of all dining venues
  • Make recommendations in areas which may improve level of service provided
  • Responsible for the food and beverage ordering and stocking as assigned
  • Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years progressive experience in hospitality, multi-unit, medium volume food service operations or other related fields is desired
  • Previous institutional dining experience preferably in retirement community, restaurant or hotel is preferred
  • High school or GED equivalent is required, while some higher education is preferred
  • Classes in Hospitality Management or Culinary Management are helpful

Compensation is $19.00 - $20.50 per hour based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package!
