At G-P, we assist organizations in building exceptional global teams in days, not months—streamlining the hiring, onboarding, and management process to unlock growth potential for all.

This role is for someone who wants to feel like a founder while staying an IC: building, designing, and shaping a product with massive ambition.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer — someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves taking products from zero to one, and blends product management instincts, design taste, and engineering craft into one.

This isn’t a conventional IC role. You’ll be hands-on in defining, designing, and building the future of our AI-driven HR & Legal Bot, working directly with founders and a small team that moves fast. You’ll ship early and often, and you’ll take pride in solving problems against the odds.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive 0→1 product development — from raw idea to prototype to shipped product.
  • Own discovery & execution — talk to users, frame problems, define MVPs, and iterate.
  • Design with taste — wireframe, prototype, and craft thoughtful user flows (Figma or similar).
  • Build full stack applications — end-to-end features (frontend, backend, integrations) that bring ideas to life.
  • Lead without a title — rally teammates, push projects forward, and step into leadership moments when momentum requires it.
  • Bias for action — validate by building, not just talking.

What We’re Looking For

  • Startup DNA — experience in fast-moving, scrappy environments (or having built your own).
  • Strong across product management, design, and full stack engineering — you’re not just an engineer who codes, you think in terms of users and products.
  • Excellent design sense — ability to wireframe and prototype independently.
  • Full stack engineering skills — comfortable across frontend and backend (React/Next.js, Node/Go/Python, etc.).
  • Bold communicator — outspoken, opinionated, and willing to challenge assumptions.
  • Thrives in hustle culture — thrives in ambiguity, speed, and pressure to deliver.
  • Bonus: experience working on AI products (LLMs, agents, or chatbots).

Interview Process

⚠️ Note: Our interview process is intentionally hard by design. We want people who embrace pressure, love solving against the odds, and are hungry to build at startup speed. However, we do not require a homework assignment - that’s not fair to either of us.  Expect:

  1. Recruiter Introduction and Role/Fit Check (30 min)
  2. Hiring Manager Screening Call (30 min) – alignment on vision, hustle fit, and communication style. Question: Pick 2 of three challenge

Microdesign challenge, Microproduct challenge, Microengineering challenge Pick two of three

  1. Sense and Sensibility Interviews

Design and/or Product Sense Interview - (30 min) 3bEngineering Vetting - Coding Round (30 min)Money/Value/Spotting the Opportunity- (30 min)

  1. Product and Design Jam Session – whiteboarding product ideas, give them a scenario, and talk about them intelligently about it 30 minutes later with their microplan (60)
