About this Position

We are seeking a visionary Principal Partner Product Manager to strategically evolve and scale our global workforce developer platform. This role is the linchpin connecting cutting-edge technology with transformative workforce solutions, directly shaping products that empower businesses to hire, pay, and manage global teams seamlessly.

What you'll do:

  • Establish and own the end-to-end strategy for the Developer Platform and its product offering.
  • Serve as the primary Developer Advocate across G-P product teams, defining the core Developer offering (APIs, Services, Tools, SDKs, Code Samples, etc) based on ecosystem needs.
  • Drive a high-velocity, customer-centric delivery cadence in partnership with Engineering, consistently championing the voice of the developer and partner.
  • Shape the product roadmap, define critical success metrics, and guide the team of product managers to continuously improve and expand the platform.
  • Direct the platform's scaling strategy to support exponential client growth and evolving market demands, ensuring clear, measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and champion the holistic product vision and roadmap for the G-P Developer Platform, ensuring API and developer experience excellence across all EOR, Contractor, and Gia product lines.
  • Strategically leverage AI to create novel software solutions that tackle complex global workforce management and compliance issues, utilizing the Partner ecosystem to showcase and validate platform capabilities.
  • Champion the voice of the developer internally at G-P, extending product integrations and capabilities for custom workflows/solutions.
  • Evangelize the G-P developer platform to help customers and partners realize its full potential.
  • Cultivate platform awareness by actively showcasing the 'art of the possible' through high-impact blogs, industry conferences, customer/developer events, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, customer success, operations, legal, HR, and sales) to ensure strategic alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Champion a user-centric approach. Deeply understand customer pain points through continuous research, interviews, and user testing to validate product ideas.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, deep integration with third-party tools (e.g., HRIS systems), and continuous user experience improvements.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to define robust go-to-market strategies for new features and platform releases.

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of progressive Product Management experience, including significant tenure in a Senior or Principal B2B SaaS role.
  • Expert-level understanding of the developer audience, their workflows, and modern tooling, including AI coding assistants and collaborative coding platforms.
  • Deep expertise in developer platforms; preference for candidates who have successfully built and shipped developer-focused products, tools, or services.
  • Demonstrated success owning a product from ideation to launch, managing both strategic vision and tactical execution effectively.
  • A proven track record of successfully shipping AI-powered products that result in demonstrable and significant customer value.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating with third-party tools, driving innovation through automation, and building products that support high-volume, complex user bases.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and/or direct experience working on Employer of Record (EOR) products or companies.
