About the position:

We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Computer Science 3rd year Intern to join our Generative AI and NLP team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI technology

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team of AI experts to develop and optimize generative AI and NLP models
  • Conduct research on state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms in the AI and NLP domain
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel AI and NLP solutions
  • Analyse and interpret data to improve model performance and efficiency
  • Assist in the documentation and presentation of research findings and project results
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of the team's goals and objectives
  • Execute automated and manual tests for AI systems, focusing on minimizing issues like hallucination.
  • Work with AI engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot and optimize AI/ML models and pipelines.

 What we are looking for: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in relevant AI and NLP libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy)
  • Demonstrable passion for artificial intelligence, with a focus on generative AI and NLP
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and concepts, such as supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and neural networks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Previous experience with AI or NLP research or projects

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $75,000 (prorated over 12 weeks)

 

Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. For Full-Time Regular Employees, this position is also eligible for additional compensation as follows:

  • Sales Roles: This position is eligible for a commission structure in addition to base salary.
  • Non-Sales Roles: This position is eligible for an annual bonus which is paid dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
