GOAL has responded to the world’s major humanitarian crises since its founding in 1977, working with vulnerable communities in 15 countries across the globe with a dedicated team of 3,500 personnel. While GOAL continues to be an agile first-responder to humanitarian crises, it is also committed to working with vulnerable communities to help them survive crises and support them on the road to recovery. 

GOAL is seeking a graphic designer who will be responsible for creating visual concepts and products that inspire, inform, and captivate our stakeholders. This role involves designing a wide range of materials, including brochures, infographics, digital content, and branding materials. 

You will play an integral role in helping GOAL fulfill its mission through highly compelling marketing & communications content as part of an extremely talented and committed global team. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES

  • Develop creative concepts and design innovative and engaging marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, and website assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand design requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Create designs that align with the company's branding guidelines and effectively communicate our brand story and values.
  • Ensure all designs and graphics are visually appealing, on-brand, and consistent across different platforms.
  • Proactively research industry trends and competitor designs to ensure our visuals are modern and relevant.
  • Edit and retouch images to enhance their quality and appeal.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and ideate for new design concepts and campaigns.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

MINIMUM REQUIRED PROFILE

 Professional Studies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

 Professional Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or a similar role.
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including print and digital materials.
  • Excellent design and layout skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of color theory, typography, and composition
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • A passion for keeping up with design trends and best practices
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus
  • English proficiency – written and spoken – required.
