Senior Global Benefits Specialist

GOAT Group is seeking a Sr. Global Benefits Specialist who will be responsible for planning and executing the day-to-day operations of the company’s non-U.S. benefits and leave management programs. 

In this role you will: 

  • Administer and manage all non-U.S. benefits programs across GOAT’s current global footprint
  • Partner with benefits consultants, local brokers and HR Business Partners to align benefits initiatives tailored to meet organizational objectives and talent strategies 
  • Enhance our current global benefits program and processes, taking into account benchmarking, employee feedback, compliance and cost considerations 
  • Regularly meet with the benefits broker team, third-party benefit plan providers and other external vendors 
  • Maintain international benefits calendar, partner with stakeholders to lead the renewal process or to implement new benefits 
  • Administer and audit all aspects of GOAT’s global employee benefits program, including but not limited to pension/retirement plans, medical, dental, vision and insured policies, as well as support our U.S. benefits where possible 
  • Develop and refine our international benefits expertise, across statutory requirements and supplemental offerings 
  • Own the leave of absence program, partnering with HR Business Partners, payroll and legal as necessary in addition to continuously improving the process 
  • Keep current on regulations and new legislation, ensure all policies are compliant, oversee audits and required filings 
  • Support immigration matters as needed for visa transfers & renewals and LOA postings
  • Create standard operating procedure documents for benefits programs 
  • Develop and deliver communication materials and educational resources to help employees understand their benefits and wellbeing options 
  • Other benefits support as needed 

We are looking for: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with general knowledge of global benefits plans and leave programs 
  • Working knowledge of statutory and private benefit plans globally, with some previous exposure to global compliance and administration 
  • Ability to efficiently perform several tasks concurrently and work independently in a deadline driven environment 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Ability to problem solve complex benefits and leave of absence issues 
  • Organization and attention to detail 
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience with UKG and/or ADP Lyric is a plus

The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Hiring Range:

$83,500 - $104,500 USD
