Summary: 

Assist our clients in applications development and customization of their systems. This role will respond to issues and concern reported by users and help develop solutions to automate work. A successful candidate will be working with a small team, but must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation developments within 3DExperience for productivity enhancement to help the designers and other end user to reduce or eliminate their repetitive tasks and enhance their internal processes with a more knowledge driven approach. 
  • Power copy, Engineering Templates development in Catia. 
  • Code development activities in VBA, VB.NET, EKL, CAA or other needed applications. 
  • Coordinate with teams for day-to-day activities planning, Schedule design review and quality review. 
  • Participate in the identification and application of solutions. Help team to resolve problems. 
  • Define deployment methodologies and technical specifications. 
  • Design application modules that work together to produce desired product and to ensure that performance guidelines are met. 
  • Assist in the transition from application development to support. Ensure proper testing is completed. 
  • Work with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 5 yrs. relevant experience or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 2 years’ relevant experience. 
  • 3-5 years of experience with Catia V5. Experience with Catia V6 preferred. 
  • 2 years’ automotive experience desired. 
  • Hands-on experience in one or more applicable functional areas: CATVBA, VB.Net, EKL, CAA. 
  • Experience in Knowledgeware features within Catia (Power copy, UDF, Rules, Reactions, Knowledge patterns, Optimizer etc.) 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, coordination and testing of applications.
