Coordinator, Arena Operations

About the Position

Golden State is looking for a Coordinator to provide administrative and project management support across all functions of the Arena Operations department. In this role, you will handle day-to-day operations, coordinate internal and external presentations/meetings/communications, and organize projects and events. This position reports to the General Manager, Chase Center.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage assigned projects and initiatives ensuring timely progress/completion, preparation of budgets and team member accountability and communication
  • Organize meetings including calendar notices, meeting agenda creation/distribution and meeting notes/next steps
  • Serve as the go-to person for needs across the department including catering requests, travel assistance and schedule maintenance
  • Plan and execute department-wide meetings, off-sites and community/volunteer events
  • Coordinate Chase Center tours and meetings with outside organizations and partners
  • Partner with all hiring managers to effectively on-board new department team members
  • Develop meeting materials (e.g., PowerPoint decks)
  • Manage multiple calendars via Microsoft Outlook
  • Organize and maintain department-wide distribution lists
  • Organize and manage business travel (i.e., flights, hotel accommodations, etc.) and related itineraries
  • Manage internal and external communication
  • Submit expense reports in a timely manner
  • Support current and future department-wide initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

 Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the sports and entertainment industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels within the organization; service-oriented with a growth mindset
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment

Time Commitment

  • Ability to work select nights and weekends, as needed

Compensation

  • $28.00 - 30.00 per hour + Bonus
