About the Role:
As a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in Maintenance, you'll play a key role in taking our new Maintenance Platform to market. Unlike a traditional Solutions Engineer, you won't carry a book of business or sit with a fixed set of Account Executives: you're a specialist overlay who parachutes into opportunities across the field wherever maintenance expertise moves the deal forward. You'll act as the domain authority and trusted advisor on maintenance workflows for technical and business stakeholders alike, bringing the demos, trials, and technical credibility that win these deals. This role requires a balance of deep domain expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills, as you map maintenance challenges to our platform and influence buying decisions.
Reporting directly to Solutions Engineering leadership, you'll collaborate across Sales, Product, Trial Success, and Product Marketing, not just to win deals, but to co-author the go-to-market motion itself and feed real-time field signal into the roadmap.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to shape deal strategy, drive discovery conversations, and deliver tailored demos wherever maintenance is central to the evaluation
- Showcase the platform's value by tying maintenance workflows to measurable outcomes, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to technicians and executives alike
- Lead proof of concepts and trials that translate complex maintenance challenges into clear, compelling, outcome-driven solutions
- Own the technical and domain narrative for the Maintenance Platform, developing deep expertise in maintenance operations and the competitive landscape
- Establish yourself as the product authority for this platform, mastering today's capabilities while shaping conversations around future roadmap
- Serve as the real-time feedback loop between the field and Product, translating customer pain, gaps, and emerging use cases into roadmap input
- Build the go-to-market motion for this product area: trial strategy, demo narratives, objection handling, and repeatable sales plays
- Enable the broader field org, ensuring any SE can confidently position and sell the platform
- Help product teams prioritize the roadmap based on field insight, and play a role in standing up go-to-market motions for this and future new product lines
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, solution consulting, or a customer-facing maintenance technology role, ideally at a maintenance, CMMS, EAM, or field service software company
- Deep expertise in maintenance operations and asset management (CMMS, EAM, or adjacent), including preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, uptime, and technician productivity
- Demonstrated success supporting complex, multi-stakeholder B2B SaaS sales cycles
- Deep knowledge of value-based selling frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to influence both technicians and executives
- Hands-on experience designing trials, POCs, and evaluation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfort operating at the intersection of Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Background in asset-intensive industries (manufacturing, transportation, field services, energy, construction) a plus
- Willingness to travel for strategic opportunities and planning
