Staff Automation Engineer
As a Staff Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our quality assurance strategy and strengthening the reliability of our products. You’ll lead the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks, and partner closely with engineering teams to integrate high-quality testing practices throughout the development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience building automation systems in large-scale environments and who is eager to make a meaningful impact on software quality across the organization.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks across multiple technologies.
- Driving test automation best practices and standards throughout the organization.
- Collaborating with R&D teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing pipelines.
- Building and improving CI/CD integrations to ensure fast, reliable releases.
- Mentoring QA engineers and promoting a strong automation culture.
- Analyzing test results and continuously improving test coverage and reliability.
- Contributing to architectural decisions for testing infrastructure and tools.
- Troubleshooting automation issues and implementing robust solutions.
- Staying current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
You should apply if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering within large-scale systems.
- Strong Java development skills and deep understanding of Spring, Spring Boot, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with API, unit, integration, and end-to-end test automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with ownership, collaboration, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with mobile, performance, or load testing.
- Familiarity with containerized or cloud-based environments.
- Background in DevOps or infrastructure automation.
