Gong is a category-defining, high-growth SaaS company, and we’re looking for a Sourcing Manager with deep, hands-on experience in Marketing sourcing and procurement to support our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success organizations.

This role partners closely with business stakeholders to shape sourcing strategy and drive execution across a fast-growing, global spend portfolio, including digital marketing, advertising, events, and sales enablement.

You’ll operate at the center of Gong’s growth engine—partnering directly with business leadership, Finance, Legal, and Security to enable rapid scaling while maintaining commercial discipline.

This role requires proven expertise in marketing-related procurement (e.g., digital media, agencies, events, and platforms) not generalist sourcing experience.

You’ll manage a broad and complex portfolio of marketing-related spend across multiple vendors, regions, and stakeholder groups, requiring strong prioritization and decision-making in a high-velocity environment.

Success in this role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills—the ability to build trust, gain alignment, and drive buy-in across cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment where priorities shift quickly and execution speed matters.

This role requires strong business judgment—the ability to consistently make sound, well-informed decisions and move forward with confidence in a fast-moving environment.

While this role is primarily focused on Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success spend, you’ll also partner across the broader procurement team contributing across categories, sharing best practices, and helping to improve processes and evolve our overall procure-to-pay (P2P) capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own Sourcing Strategy & Execution Across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success
  • Lead the full sourcing lifecycle across a diverse and high-volume portfolio of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success spend categories
  • Lead sourcing across marketing-driven categories including digital media, advertising platforms, agencies, events, and marketing technology
  • Work in close partnership with stakeholders to enable business priorities and drive aligned sourcing decisions
  • Bring structure to marketing spend that is often fast-moving, decentralized, and performance-driven, ensuring solutions are adopted and executed
  • Lead Complex, Cross-Functional Deals & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Act as the deal lead across stakeholders (Legal, Security, Finance, business owners)
  • Proactively align stakeholders, gain buy-in on sourcing approach, and drive decisions forward to accelerate contract execution
  • Engage business partners early to shape requirements, influence decision-making, and ensure sourcing strategies are adopted—not bypassed
  • Negotiate High-Impact Commercial Agreements
  • Structure and negotiate pricing, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and renewals
  • Optimize for flexibility, scalability, and long-term value
  • Partner with or lead the engagement with Legal to review, redline, and negotiate contract terms, ensuring agreements are commercially sound and aligned with business objectives
  • Build Strategic Supplier Relationships
  • Own vendor strategy for key partners across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success (agencies, platforms, event providers, support tools, etc.)
  • Lead performance reviews and ongoing commercial optimization
  • Drive Financial Discipline Without Slowing the Business
  • Ensure spend visibility, contract compliance, and clean procurement workflows
  • Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support / Success spend
  • Influence Senior Stakeholders
  • Partner with all levels including senior business leaders (Director/VP level and above) on planning, vendor strategy, and investment decisions
  • Deliver data-driven insights, benchmarks, and ROI analysis
  • Operate in a Lean, Scaling Environment
  • Partner across the procurement team to support additional categories and share best practices
  • Contribute to process improvements and key initiatives to evolve sourcing and procure-to-pay (P2P) capabilities
  • Contribute to the operating cadence of the procurement function, including planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives
  • Help build scalable sourcing processes and frameworks as the team grows
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of procurement experience, including clear, demonstrable ownership of Marketing sourcing categories (digital media, agencies, events, or marketing technology)
  • Proven track record negotiating marketing-specific contracts, including digital advertising, agency agreements, media spend, and event production
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to engage, influence, and gain buy-in from Marketing and business leaders in performance-driven, fast-changing environments
  • Strong knowledge of contract structures and language, with experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements in partnership with Legal
  • Proven ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced tech environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to balance speed vs. structure without becoming a bottleneck
  • Experience owning large, complex spend categories and influencing senior stakeholders (Director/VP level and above)

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
