About the team:
You will be joining our marketplace team, which builds on one of Goodnotes' core strengths: allowing users to create visually appealing notebooks and markup documents with top-notch handwriting technology. The team works together to create the best digital stationary marketplace for our users and continually innovate on ways to enhance the aesthetic note-taking experience, aligning with the broader company's strategic initiatives.
Our team is spread between Asia and Europe. You’re welcome to work remotely from anywhere, with at least 2-3 hours overlap with with the people you’d be working closely with.
About the Role
As we continue to expand our marketplace, we are seeking a dynamic team leader to champion our efforts in recruiting sellers and optimizing our platform for a global audience.
The marketplace is a crucial revenue stream for us, and your contributions will directly influence its growth trajectory.
This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:
- Recruit Sellers: Actively engage in outreach efforts, including offline events and social media promotions, to attract new sellers to our marketplace.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor conversion metrics and conduct A/B testing to refine our strategies and improve sales performance.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L of the shop, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
- Proven track record in managing a digital online marketplace.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and creator curation strategies.
- Growth-focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
- Highly analytical with extensive experience in data analysis and A/B testing.
- Proficient in promoting products through social media platforms and ad campaigns
- Previous collaboration with major brands is a plus.
- Experience in community management (e.g., Figma, Notion, Reddit) is a plus
Interview process:
- An introductory call with someone from our talent acqusition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
- A role-specific call to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail
- A live technical assessment
- A call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at Goodnotes
- A call with our Chief of Operations
- A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
